Biography

Courtney is a spatial analyst with a passion for using spatial data to support smart conservation planning. She started her career as a marine biologist in the Gulf of Mexico, but has since converted to the aquatic system after her time in the Midwest attending graduate school. In all the places she’s worked she’s enjoyed learning about the challenges facing conservation and has had the pleasure of partnering with multiple agencies to both conduct monitoring projects and develop geospatial products to advance aquatic conservation and restoration efforts. Now in the Pacific Northwest she is eager to use her expertise to develop tools to support Coastal Coho habitat assessment. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, woodworking, taking the occasional trip to the coast, and spending time with her newly adopted dog.
